Hello! My name is Colleen. I just want to tell you a little bit about me so that you know why I have opinions on educational baby toys and products. I went to school for Special Education. I taught in a self-contained classroom for grades 3 - 5 for 2 years. Then I worked in the Early Intervention field for 3 years. I was a Developmental Interventionist where I worked with children from 0 - 3 years of age, whom had various learning/language delays. Some of the children I worked with had Autism and Down Syndrome.

I left that field to become a mom. At the present time, my daughter is 15 months of age. I am having a blast at home watching her develop into a little person! Day by day she is learning from her environment and the family and friends around her.

As most of you know, there are tons and tons of toys and baby products out there for your little one to learn from. How do you choose the right ones? How do you know what things you actually need? If you are like me you do not want unnecessary toys taking over your house. (We have a small house) So, I try to be selective in the toys and baby products that we purchase. Over the years, I have experienced some lousy toys and some great ones. That is why I have developed this site. Here are the toys that I find to be educational, fun, purposeful, safe and engaging. I also have some baby products here that I recommend. I will not give you information on products and toys that I do not like. Enjoy!
