Bumbo Baby Sitter Bumbo Baby SitterWe love the Bumbo! This was great when I was working in the early intervention field because I could sit in front of a child while he was sitting in the Bumbo seat. I would plop him in the seat, snap the Bright Ideas Bumbo play tray on and have a great session one on one without having to spend so much time worrying about him sitting up.

Your child can use this seat once he can keep his head up independently. (around 3 months) He can use the seat until about 18 months. (It really depends on the size of your child) It is a great little, light weight, foam seat that your baby will fit into snuggly without straps. (very easy to travel with) You should not leave your child in it and leave the room! He may learn to lean back quickly or forward and hurt himself. It is also meant to be used on the floor.

My daughter gained a lot of self confidence in this chair. It is true! She will sit in it, look around and smile as if she feels like she is a big girl. She often sits in the seat and plays with some toys that are on her tray. It is a great opportunity to play with her one on one because I can look directly at her and she at me without focusing on her sitting up. She was sitting in the Bumbo for her first spoonful of cereal also! Great buy!
