Mirror Me! Board Book (Baby Einstein) Review

We love Baby Einstein. My daughter is very attracted to the cute animals and vibrant colors. The Mirror Me! board book is adorable. There is an animal on the left page and a small mirror on the right. As you read the simple sentences to your child, he will enjoy looking at the animal and then at himself. He can even work on imitating the animals’ actions when he is able to do so. It is very cute for the little ones and even as they grow to be little readers.

Baby Einstein Language Nursery Board Book Review

The Baby Einstein company has some really great books for your little ones to read. This board book displays simple, colorful images with sayings on the opposite pages. The sayings are in English, Spanish, Hebrew, French and Japanese. I have used these board books in the early intervention field and with my own daughter. They are educational and fun!

Baby Einstein Classical Dreams Gift Set Review

What a wonderful gift set this is! You and your baby can enjoy the classical music of Bach, Beethoven and Mozart through CDs and DVDs. This gift set includes 4 CDs and 3 DVDs. The music is great while your little one is playing and some is nice and soft for when your baby is resting. My daughter loves all of the DVDs. The images are beautiful and engaging. Sometimes, I plop my daughter in her Baby Einstein activity center and she watches the movies as she plays. We also, at times will sit together and I will talk to her about what she is seeing. I have seen my nieces and nephews enjoy these DVDs until they were about 3 years of age. The gift set also includes the little caterpillar ring rattle, which is great for your little one to shake and mouth. There is a Baby Mozart board book that your child will love to read with you. He will enjoy the rhymes and the life-like, beautiful images. The dragon puppet is another great item that is included in the gift set. It is the same one that is shown in the DVDs.

Baby Einstein Discover and Play Activity Center Review

The activity center is great once your child has good head control. I have read that it is used for babies 6 – 12 months. However, I have to say my daughter was using it by 4 months and enjoying it! Once she could reach the base and had head control, she began playing in this activity center. The vibrant primary colors will surely grasp your child’s attention. The textures will stimulate his senses. He will want to probably chew on the bright yellow sun and the orange star, but that is great for oral stimulation. It is so important that your baby discovers various textures. Your child can work on gross and fine motor control while sitting/standing with support, reaching, grabbing, and banging the many different pieces. He can work on learning the concept of cause and effect by hitting the buttons to hear the animal names (in English and Spanish), animal sounds and music. By the way, the seat is machine washable, swivels 360 degrees and has a 3 position height adjustment. A physical therapist once told me that a child should use it for only 15 minutes/day.

Baby Einstein Play Gym Review

This activity gym is one of my daughter’s favorites. You can use this from 0 -24 months. I would recommend starting early on in order to free your hands and allow your child to stimulate his vision. Your baby, at first will just lay there and look around, but he is learning! This is a great place to work on belly time too. As he grows, he will learn to grasp the toys that hang (fine motor control), listen to music (auditory stimulation), watch the star light up (visual stimulation) and learn the concept of cause and effect. Soon enough he will be rolling over and be quick to grab on and taste the little hanging toys. Later on your child can crawl around on the mat, sit up and learn his colors and familiar animals.
