We discovered this awesome roller coaster at a local play gym for little ones. I immediately ran home to see if I could buy it for our basement. And here it is! The Up and Down Roller Coaster is a blast for children about 24 months – 5 years. However, my niece enjoys it and she is only 11 months old.

This roller coaster is very easy to put together. No tools are required. The car has a high back, handrail and foot rests. There is a recessed retainer which keeps the car in place during mounting. Your child can enjoy the roller coaster indoors or out. The car is bright yellow and the 10 foot hill is colorful and super fun!

Fisher-Price Little Superstar Sing-Along Stage Review

The Fisher-Price Little Superstar Sing-Along Stage features a large mirror, 4 spotlights, 5 songs, 2 play modes and a microphone. Your little one can sit or stand in front of it and rock out while stimulating his vision and hearing. He can enjoy mirror play and imitating. He will love the various songs and can even sing himself using the microphone. This is one of my niece’s favorites. It is one of the many wonderful laugh and learn toys from Fisher-Price.

Sophie La Giraffe is an adorable, loveable, BPA-Free teether that your baby can enjoy safely. She will enjoy hearing her laugh when she squeezes her belly. This giraffe teether is BPA-Free, meaning there are no harmful chemicals. Although it is a bit expensive, it is very safe, cute, and loveable.

I love this Peek ‘N Play Discovery dome! My niece has this and is a little too young to enjoy it so my daughter is breaking it in for her and is having a blast! Your child can learn and have lots of fun in the process. The dome offers hanging toys, smiling critters, a mailbox shape sorter, balls and ball chute. It offers many textures and mesmerizing colors. Oh, and it is super fun for kids because it is a dome!

I love the Fisher Price Laugh & Learn toys! We have several and everyone of them is fun, musical and educational. This purse is adorable. Inside your daughter will find a pretend lipstick, mirror, dollar, keys, and bracelet. Your child can play with her Laugh & Learn Learning Purse in 3 different modes: learning, imagination, and music. She will love to hear the music and enjoy being rewarded with various sounds and phrases. Your child will enjoy putting her things in her purse and taking them out. She can zip the zipper and open and close the bag. She will love to play with her pretend belongings. She will imitate you by putting on her bracelet and lipstick.

Fisher-Price Amazing Animals Sing & Go Choo-Choo Review

This toy won Parent’s Magazine Best Toys of the Year award in 2006. My daughter loves this toy. Your child can learn a lot and have a blast with this one. The Amazing Animals Sing & Go Choo-Choo helps your child develop motor skills, learn about animals and their sounds, introduces them to different textures and sounds. Your child will love the music that is played and the various sound effects. He will learn cause and effect by pushing the button to hear a song and see the train move. The three animals are flexible and even make sounds when you move their limbs.

I have played with this toy during early intervention sessions to work on sensory, cause and effect, identifying animals and their sounds and parallel play. I would recommend this toy to any child between 6 months and 3 years of age. Your child can learn a lot from it and have lots of fun too!

The Fisher Price Interactive Baby Grand Piano is so much fun! My daughter got this when she was 12 months old and has a blast playing with it. Most children love music and lights, so you can’t go wrong with this one. The piano has 3 different modes of play: learning, musical fun, and imagination. There is a character that dances while your child plays the piano. This toy is very interactive. Your little one can learn about colors, numbers, and counting. There are light up piano keys, an interactive song book, cute songs, and a few other toys to play with on this piano. I love watching my daughter sit in front of it and play. Sometimes she even cruises around it to get to all of the fun interactive pieces.

Fisher Price: Laugh n’ Learn Kitchen Review

The Fisher Price Laugh ‘n Learn Kitchen is a great toy for your little one to learn from and have a blast while doing so. The Kitchen has an opening that your child will crawl through and on his way through he will be rewarded with music and lights. There are a few different modes that you can choose from. There are 21 different songs, sound effects, greetings, fun phrases, radio sounds and more than 25 fun phrases. Your child will enjoy opening his refrigerator to find pictures of familiar foods inside. He can play with the shape sorter on the refrigerator, enjoy putting the colored balls in the sink, cook up some food in the oven and on the stove top. He can toast up some bread and listen to the radio. There is a light switch that he will learn to turn on and off and will be delighted to hear phrases and see lights when he does so.

There is a living room side on the opposite side of the kitchen. However, there is not much for your child to do on this side except turn the radio dial, look at a small flip book and play with the clock. At first I was disappointed that there wasn’t much on this side. But, the focus is the kitchen and my daughter loves it!

She was 12 months of age when she got this toy and she plays with it a lot longer than most other toys. She really enjoys the music and especially being rewarded with lights and music when crawling through the doorway!

Alphabet ‘n Numbers Foam Puzzle Mat Review

You can sit and watch your child develop on this Alphabet ‘n Numbers Foram Puzzle Mat. I love this puzzle mat and chances are, your child will too. You can place this down on the floor as a mat and your child can learn and play on it. The 12″ by 12″ foam blocks are soft and come apart like a puzzle. Your child can learn his ABCs and numbers 1- 10. He can work on fine motor control when taking the pieces apart and putting them back together. The pieces offer various textures for your little one to enjoy. The blocks are colorful, so your child can learn colors also! By the way, when the puzzle is together, it covers 36 square feet. It is easy to clean too!

BPA or Bisphenol-A is a chemical used in some plastics. It is used to make these plastics, durable, clear and hard. It is also found in pesticides fungicides and other products. Heating plastics with BPA is thought to unleash harmful chemicals into liquids and foods. Studies show that BPA can potentially cause hormonal abnormalities, cancers and developmental problems. BPA tends to unleash into liquids and foods after being heated. So, if you are boiling your plastic bottles or putting them in the dishwasher, they will be releasinig this toxin (if it contains BPA).

Baby bottles, pacifiers, teethers and sippy cups are among the many plastics that we as parents see our children use daily! Do not worry. There are many BPA free products out there that you and your family can use. Here is a list of BPA free products.
