Melissa and Doug Stack and Sort Board Review
I used this a lot when working in the early intervention field. We would use it to work on sorting, color recognition, number recognition, counting, shapes, and fine motor skills. As you can see it is a great, inexpensive toy with many educational purposes. There are 5 different shapes in 5 different colors. There are numbers on the base so that your little one can begin to recognize numbers. She can count the shapes as she puts them onto their base and identify the colors. As she is playing with the board she is using her fine motor skills to pick up the pieces and put them on the base.
